Almost 1

My Little Pumpkin is going to be 1 this week.

Where does the time go?

Adventures and Lessons Learned

October has been a beautiful month weather wise and this past weekend was no exception. Downtown Campbell was putting on their annual Oktoberfest so we decided to go down and participate.
Heading out on our adventure.

I thought it would be authentic to have a turkey leg at Oktoberfest. Lesson learned, I can tell you that there was nothing authentic or appetizing about it!

Paul got a brat with sauerkraut...I think he liked it, he ate all of it.

A good day was had.

A Little Off The Top

This past Thursday we took Nora in for her first real haircut. I have been trimming the mullet since she was three months old but this time she got her bangs cut and her hair shaped up!

Here are the pics.
She wouldn't sit in the fun kid friendly chairs so Paul had to hold her.

All done.

Now she looks like a big girl and not like my little baby anymore.

What a Big Helper!

Nora has figured out how to climb. She likes to climb up the stairs, she likes to climb on the dog, and yesterday she climbed up the dishwasher to help me do the dishes!

I Need a Moment!

Paul and Nora stole away to have a quiet moment!

Baby Dedication

Continuing our path down parenthood, we went through baby dedication on Sunday. This means we pledged to submit Nora to God's will and to raise her according to God's Word and His ways.

Family and friends came for the service and then we enjoyed a great lunch together afterwards.

Thank you all for coming and being a part of our special day!

Here is the whole motley crew! Liam and Nora got to share another life moment, being dedicated on the same day! Here are all the grandparents, cousins, and great grandparents that got to share the day!

Bonafide LOLA

A couple of weeks ago Paul went to a conference in Texas and to keep us busy I scheduled lots of fun activities. One such activity was canning applesauce with Michaela. We did this all on our own with out having to call a professional at any point! I think that makes us bonafide LOLAs!

Here are some pictures of our adventure!

The kiddos played while we worked.

In went the apples...

...out came the sauce!

Back at home, I did the dished while Nora playing with Tupperware and then everything got too quiet, I looked around and she had fallen asleep on the floor! I guess it had been a big day for her too!
