Snow, Snow, Snow, Snow

Over the weekend we went to the snow! We took a couple of days off from work and headed for the mountains! We joined Cathryn's side of the family at the family cabin and enjoyed food, a warm fire, games, and did I mention...SNOW! Upon departure we almost got snowed in but Paul put in some hard work and got us home.
Nora came out of her room ready to go in the snow...little did she know she was very underdressed!

Paul and Madison, my niece, have a merry war between them. Paul told Madison that whatever she did to him he would retaliat 10 x harder. Notice in this picture how Paul is holding 2 snowballs, ready for whatever Madison may throw his way! That is Paul, always ready to play the role of big brother!
Nora and Madison making snow angels!
Our snowman!
Nora and Cathryn, right after jumping off the second story balcony into the snow. SO fun!
Our car, after 1 night in a snow storm.

St. Patty's Day Fun

We celebrated St. Patrick's Day on a number of different days. Again, I love any excuse to do something out of our ordinary! We celebrated... Once with Paul's High School Small Group. Once on the Sunday before St. Patrick's Day. Once at school, and once on the actual day! We had to get the greatest bang for our buck out of all our green clothes!
I made a green cake for Paul's High School Small Group.

Nora sported her green at church on the Sunday before

St. Patrick's Day.
I made a mint chocolate chip dessert on the actual St. Patrick's Day...
...along with Irish Stew and dinner rolls.

I think my mom was rooting more for the Protestants as she did not sport any green on St. Patrick's Day!

Rubba-dub-dub 3 kids in a Tub!

We had friends with kids over the other night and with bath schedules non-relenting and only 1 bath tub we did what we had to do!

Aquila was a little unsure at first but he soon found the situation entertaining!
