Pumpkin Pickin'

We love the pumpkin patch! It is a perfect fall outing, we love to look back at the pictures and see how we have changed over the year. We love the excitement that it brings, it is like the start line of the holiday season!

Built for Endurance

For the past 8 weeks I have been training for a half marathon. My goal was to run the entire time and to finish in 2 hours 30 minutes. Last Sunday morning I participated in the San Jose Rock N Roll half marathon, I completed it and accomplished my goal! I actually finished in 2 hours 31 minutes but I'm not going to split hairs!

I'm in there somewhere!

Since there were 17,000 people participating in this event and I had never run it before, Paul and Nora just met me at the end and enjoyed the post race festivities.

Say Yea for A, Say Yes for S!

Since the school year started Michaela has been doing some school activities with Liam and when Nora is there she gets to join in on the learning and have some fun at the same time. On my Fridays with the kiddos I try to correlate some activity with the letter of the week. So far there has been the letter A, S and P.

On S week I brought home a slip n slide from work, and at 10:00 I set it up and waited to see what they thought.

When Aaron woke up he joined in the fun, he liked skirting the water and just barely feeling the drops on his fingers and toes. Since the day was so nice we ate lunch outside and at 12:30 I finally put the slip n slide away.

Liam brought snowman tattoos to share on S week. This was Nora's first tattoo, as you can tell, she was captivated by it.

After all that running and water play my reward for the day was sweet soundless sleep from all the kiddos!
