This past weekend we celebrated Memorial Day and along with remembering the men and women who have died for our country we also introduced Nora to the ocean for the first time.On Monday we went to Santa Cruz, had a wonderful breakfast, found a clean enough beach and plopped our kid on it!

She loved the sand but hated the cold water.
Then, when we got home and had dinner we noticed that Nora had broken through her first tooth! All-in-all, it was a very memorable Memorial Day!
