Ode to the Binkie

Nora is/was a binkie girl. From the day she was born she took right to the binkie and we were thrilled! It soothed her, it calmed her, it quieted her, it was great!

At about 14 months we were feeling like she was getting a little too attached to her binkies; wanting one all the time, carryng 2 around at a time while she had one in her mouth, etc. So we decided at 16 months that we would take away the binkies and hope that she would be young enough to recover and old enough to be able to understand how to behave without the crutch of the binkie.
